Scholar Of Hyperion I can attest that, as a metalhead, I listen to the 'extreme' sub genres on a daily basis. But yet none of them can beat the classic sound of traditional heavy metal. This band along with Manilla Road were the pinnacle of that sound. Favorite track: Frost and Fire.

barleybase This is pure heavy metal, dripping in sorceries meant to bend your mind. It doesn't get much better than these tunes. Favorite track: I'm Alive.

poisonremedy Do you like traditional heavy metal? Then you need this. It's just that straightforward. Favorite track: Edge of a Knife.

paul rote " I feel the burning ,I feel the freeze , the frost the fire , it burns inside of me "

I remember when the frost , the fire first burned inside of me. I paid the piper , I paid him well but he still called the tune . Maybe that’s why I thought I’d be better off dead . But I’m alive ! What does it take to get to you ? A little fire on the edge of a knife ? Cirith Ungol rules ! Favorite track: Frost and Fire.
