pinkytheent A churning, smoky, and doomed affair. Gone is much of the adventurous, sword-and-sorcery battle hymn of Forever Black and earlier; this is a trudging march of grim and dark resolve. A well-chosen album name. This was a different direction than I expected, so I will have to screw my head on right to give it a re-listen, but I think it will please even more. Many of the melodies take shadowy turns of half-tone tension, evoking the dire fate hanging overhead as mighty heavy lyrics damn you. Favorite track: Dark Parade.

Brandon Corsair I never thought that we'd even get a Cirith Ungol reunion at one point, let alone new music. Getting not only new music but new music that legitimately stands up to their classic 1980s material- even surpassing some of it- is an absolute pleasure.

The neverending solos are a pleasure to listen to, great melody in them!
